From graphic designer to indie skin care entrepreneur: meet Ann from Gallop Hill

Perimenopause is such a challenging time for women.

So many things are changing in our bodies. Some changes are more internal, you don't see them but you do feel them! Others are there for everyone to see - like changes to our skin. Dry skin, wrinkles, adult acne, irritations - what's a woman to do when there's no product out there powerful enough to address the issue yet gentle and non irritating to the delicate skin of our face?

Enter Gallop hill. A new indie skin care company located in the Hudson Valley, NY.

I had a conversation with Ann, the founder and owner of Gallop Hill. Ann talks about the challenges she had and the frustration she experienced when she couldn't find relief from already existing products. The creative and entrepreneurial soul she is - she founded a company and created natural, gentle products that are dermatologist tested, non irritant, safe for all skin types and the environment. And they smell amazing!!!

Ann's products are available from her website and she has a special offer for listeners of this podcast: a special 10% discount until November 30th, 2024 and a free gift.

About the Podcast

Midlife Woman
a journey through perimenopause & beyond
Can you leave behind the chaos of perimenopause?
What is awaiting you on the other side?
Welcome to "Midlife Woman", a podcast for women who are transforming - physically, emotionally and spiritually.
We talk about this very normal process in every woman's life. We share stories, we hear from experts who give information about hormones, genitourinary symptoms, pelvic floor issues, the often strange and confusing symptoms of perimenopause, sleep issues, memory, sex, passion, sensuality, relationships and what that "second spring" has in stock for you as you travel on your soul's journey. Host Karin Elias wants to empower women to celebrate this important transition . It's not a disease! It's not a secret! There's no shame being in menopause. Women give birth to the whole world, and when they are finished with that stage of their life, they can become joyful, sensual and wise guides to their peers and to younger generations.
